Join us for our 1st creative Art-afternoons (3 sessions) in the studio!
Let’s get into the studio! Come make a playful bear, deer, moose, snowy owl or YOUR favorite Maine animal! Children will also create a gorgeous little hand-sewn, playful watercolor collage book, plus make an adorable Maine animal friend using natural and sculptural materials, including lots of Maine wool! A bonus is that we will scan the collages (and other 2-D work that we create), that can be re-printed as art or books for gorgeous holiday presents. We’ll have so much fun!
When: afternoons 3:30 – 5:00 pm, (3 wk session!) Tue Dec 11, Thu Dec 13, Tue Dec 18
note: some children because of school dismissal need to come at 3:45 – no problem! We can work with that!
Who: Children ages 4.5 – 9

SOME DETAILS
Children are dropped off at 3:30. Please have a little snack before you arrive! We will take tea/water breaks, but for this workshop we won’t do snacks until our final celebration. Things helpful to bring: Please bring a water bottle, a little sweater, and a cozy pair of slippers if you have them (socks are OK too) to wear in our studio. We will have 1 make-up class available, plus we’ll add an additional make-up week if needed, incase we have a snow day OR children get sick! In the event you need to cancel, we will only keep 20%, or a $20 processing fee if notified two weeks prior to the start of the workshop. Sibling discount taken when you choose 2 children, for a 1/2 off discount for 2nd child. Prior to starting class, each student must sign and return our student info sheet packet (includes media form, release form, and other important info). Price includes all materials!
